Multidisciplinary artist and designer Anna Aristova, born in Krasnodar, Russia, is a lifelong creative spirit. An early childhood connection to ceramics let her to explore fashion design, theater, printmaking, and painting during her studies.
In 2006 she moved to New York, where spent over a decade running her architectural and interior design practice. In 2016 she co-founded A Space – a design studio specialized in creating limited edition and bespoke furniture and design objects, often in close collaboration with craftsmen around the world. Since 2021, she has divided her time between New York and London.
Themes of femininity, sexuality, women’s roles, and the understanding of the female body are prominent themes in Anna’s work. Her projects are rooted in personal history and self-reflection, exploring memories as a foundation for artistic expression. Additionally, Anna’s focus extends to developing new materials with an ecological approach, reflecting her commitment to sustainability in today’s world.
