City [to be] / [not to] return
As an otcome of City on a Day workshop with Gary Clough, this book is a passage through time and space, as told through the lens of a narrator in search of a lost mysterious city. Presenting readers with questions, it encourages the use of imagination, engaging them in co-creation of the story. Created using a mixture of techniques (contemporary lithography, drypoint, relief printing, laser printing, sashiko stitching), this book’s process is mirroring the visual style of late 90’s American graphic design, which was a mashup of techniques, in part due to the emergence of digital design.
